:lol: and it's a very time consuming venture hunting for a photo, I have photo's in mind but geez louise, I'm havin no luck.
 
I am feeling very humble this evening. To find that some of you have been kind enough to nominate me for the nature photo thingy. Gobsmacked is the word!
Then to see that somebody has nominated me as forum Good Guy.:) Dunno why though!
I did not even know you were planning such a thing.
Not much more I can say really. Just thank you for the nomination.
I am considering my nominations now!
 
I cant remember who took it! Its the one of a puffin falling down, and I heart it so!!!!
 
this is going to be hard to remember all the great pics and threads i have seen this year,
note to self, bookmark favourite threads and pics for next year.
 
I'm going to nominate Tomas as the forum hunk. Just for that pic alone. :)

its seems as though most people are voting for their photographers rather than pics.. i changed mine to pics but maybe its worth going with the crowd?
 
Pics are just too hard to find in the ten minutes I have right now. :)

So I've done the bits I can and I'll go back and add to it as and when I can.

Indeed, maybe voting for the best motorsports/portrait/animal tog? You know, voting for the best in the field? Would that be easier? :)

perhaps a description of the particular shot would help narrow it down a bit:thumbs:
 
It would be a lot easier to go for the best photographer in the categories, as I cannot find the pics I was looking for after all in the rest of the categories we are voting for the forum member [bribery]flutters eyelashes at Marcel and offers him cookies :naughty: [/bribery]
 
Edinburgh G - The kingfisher diving shot that got up one or two members shirts was Nikonf4s :)

Not at all, it was an informed decision taken as the perfect administrator that he is :naughty: several people said the same thing, it just happened to be my post that immediately preceeded the decision - cookies had nothing to do with it :lol:
 
Attention ... Attention ... EdinburghGary please stop deleting your images! :bang: You'd have had a couple more nominations from me had I been able to find the pictures I wanted. But they had already been deleted... sooooooooooo annoying :bat: :p


Marcel this is a really difficult thing to pull off. On a previous forum I frequented, the only way it worked was by taking nominations, then creating a thread with a poll of the nominations for each category. I think the only way the photo ones will work is by linking to specific images. Then when it comes to voting people can see why they were nominated iykwim? :shrug:

Whatever you decide to do .. this was a great idea, and it's very good of you and the others to put it into practise :)

That's why I did it as photos. No b****r listens to me though.
 
Well whatever I choose, people are doing the opposite! :shrug: I can't win.

Why doesn't everyone nominate in whatever way they want, then when it comes to the voting, it will all make no sense whatsoever when I try and sit down to go through it all!

Would someone please pass me a brick wall :bang:

Too many stunning posts for my liking to re-trawl though so I'll bail out here I think and remove my photograph entries me thinks. You are all winners ;)
