Anyone know of a firework display that's kind of different ?
E.g Burning leaders of current political parties rather than guy Fawkes ?
Nudist ?
Run by Benedictine monks? Or Goths ?

The monks at the local abbey always dress up as Goths on Nov 5th. and this year they actually are burninig effigies of a naked Dave, Nick and Ed.
Bonfire to be lit by Nigel Farage, bring bottle and bird. (For Nige.)
Location and time TBA.

I think you need to go to Lewes as the seven bonfire societies there always have effigies of current 'enemies of the bonfire' (as well as Guy Fawkes and Pope Paul V).

Right finally got onto my main computer and I've just unlocked the map to allow anyone to edit and add locations to the map, I was working my way thorough and trying to update from last years information to to be totally honest after 10 hours on the map I was less than a quarter through it...

So if you have time and info please add or update your local pins please, for this years events please use a green place marker (y)

Updated the only one I know of (also updated thread title to 2013).

Gloucester quays are having a massive firework display on the 2/11/13 at Gloucester docks. There is also a firework display at Cheltenham racecourse on the 2 as well and in Cirencester at st michaels park gates open at 5pm.

Maybe new thread/thread title would help, we are after all a quarter of the way through 2015?

Hi, I've just discovered this forum and had a look at your map. I'd like to add Plymouth to it if possible. Each year in August we host the British Firework Championships. It's a huge event and has been going on for nearly 20 years. As this is my first post I'm not allowed to post a link yet but my facebook page is RichWPhotos and I have a few shots on there if you'd like to see them.

Port Talbot and Porthcawll both do free displays on the beach. Porthcawl does them in the summer as well but I don't have dates yet.

I've just heard Swanseas display this year is a free on the beach job. No other details though.
