Cool bird and rendition but there seems to be an issue with
the critical focus as I see it, what's your gear, Andy?

Well spotted. I use a 5d3 & EF 300 2.8

I have been having a problem with the auto focus for a while.
I was trying to adjust the AF micro adjustment when the waggy turned up ;)
I think I'll try a reset on my 5d3 now I have the time then download a microadjustment chart to try setting it up.

Nice set, Ian but I see that only #4 has critical focus
as the others hint toward back focus issue — that is
if you focused on the eye every time. Am I right?

No chance of me focusing on the eye with these little buggers Kodiak, far too fast, so focus point is where ever it happens to land I'm afraid :)
 
A lot of aggressive crops and birds way off in the distance from me this weekend. Sorry about the delay in getting them posted. Also I've been a bit lazy with the PP and noise reduction :p

I see them as the same on here, maybe 'cos of looking at images on facebook a lot.
It doesn't do images any favours.
