What birds or bird have you seen today – communal thread, I hope!

Spotted this robin with what looks like about three insects in his beak. He looked as if he wanted to add some seeds to his mouthful.

Meadow pipit, quite a bonnie little bird.

They have to be the most common bird on our local moors but I'm guilty of regularly over looking them.

I've had to clean it up tbh, was a little under and lifting it created a tad more noise but the outcome isn't too bad.

I thought you looked to have a few good 'uns?
 
Goldcrest seen in my front garden , What a lovely little bird , Also when washing my cup in the kitchen sink what lands on a tree stump , A lovely goldfinch the colours are beautiful , No camera to hand :(

Spent a hour trying to get a decent shot of a Swallow early this morning with low light, loads of them, flying low all around me, but they are so fast I could not get them in the viewfinder let alone get focus !
These are the best of the dozens I took (mostly of free space)

Great set, Swallows are so fast. You done well to capture such good images, I am still trying;)
