Since my last post, I've sold my Golf and gone over to this:

Nice solid runabout which doesn't get stuck in snow unlike my Golf.

For the weekends I share this with my brother:

Still got the Honda Civic 2.2 i-CTDI, just had the DMF changed to a SMF and an 8 paddle competition clutch fitted. Once it's run in it's trip down to Celtic tuning for a stage 2 remap so should be a totally different car by then

Bloody hell!!!!! I'm in the wrong forum.

I feel like a tramp who's accidentally wandered into the Carlton Club.

As for this

My mistress just turned 1 years old ...

She's something I'd love to pass on to my daughter one day.

I just hate you  :love:

Jag:love: some more piccies of that please(y)

I love Jags for the 60's - just something regal about them...

My couple of cars

Everyday runabout

Vauxhall Astra SRi with VXR body kit as free factory fit option. Super qiick for the 1.8 uptated to 165bhp

Weekender/snowmobile

Is a n imported1995 LWB Mitsubishi Pajero (Shogun) Exceed 2.8TD auto. Picked up off Ebay for £700 3 years ago! Bargain as costs very littlee in maintenance as was not just looked after by previous owner but loved. Its the beast. My youngest son often "borrows" it and I will find the keys to his Audi A3 left while he goes off in it without asking. I don't mind as it comes back with more diesel in it than when it went out.

Enjoy the Astra as its quirky and quite nimble but the Pajero has been just reliable comfy and a joy in the snow rain and on the odd day in the sunshine! Still gets over 30mpg despite a heavy right foot at times!

Has been brilliant comfy and reliable but I have been offered a newer Warrior at a v good price.

Know how you feel with that, got a car in the garage thats in bits I am supposed to be restoring and only part finished :bang:

That said, got a load of parts to replace/repair the old and bits to upgrade, just need the ruddy time to do it!

Finally got rid of the Mondeo 2.0 TDCi, starting to have a few reliability problems despite being well maintained and only having 60K on the clock. Have gone back with Honda with their Accord, but not a Swindon built one.

We came into a bit of unexpected toot and at the time I had a VW polo 1.2, I really fancied a BMW 320 touring,so when I took SWMBO to a few dealers I put her in a 5 series 'this is too big' she said (now rubbing my hands together) try this 3 series then dear....'its too big'......doh!! we ended up with a 118d M sport,I really like it and its very economical. On a further note, its cheaper to tax (£30 compared to £125 for the polo),cheaper to insure (£268 compared to £308 for the Polo) and mpg is better too.

I have the family car ~ Audi A6 avant now at 136000 miles and still as good as the day it was made..
We also have a mini JCW - remapped to just over 240bhp
And finally we have a 1985 VW T25 campervan, all restored :)

Not a kit car is it?

Not a clue to be honest.

Thought Big Healey at first glance, but spotted the switch gear. Don`t know enough about kit cars to even warrant a guess.

Ha ha. Not a bad guess. If it helps, whilst the switch gear is actually Sierra, the dials are Smiths and the wheel is Motolita...

It helps not one jot.............

My guess, a wild one at that, is a Cobra replica thingmyjig.

Great cars! I almost bought one of those over my wrx type ra - but the 369 ponies swayed me :/

This sounds better than it goes, which says a lot because for a big saloon it does pull very well. Handles superbly as well.

Not bad for a first car ;)

I will have a Scooby one day!

Yeah they pull really well for their size! Comfy too ;) - yeah scoobs are awesome cars, especially with the interior taken out and forged internals! I sold mine a while ago and I'm edging towards either an mr fq400 which I can push to 500+ or a supra :/ I just don't know if I want rwd over AWD ... I just love Japanese cars. The amount of brute force you can get out of them while you scream past a Ferrari is (y) for the money!

I've recently had a change drom my old (1996) V8 Discovery to a newer (2000) Td5 Discovery II. It's still a 2.8tonne brick on wheels ... but it's my brick on wheels :D
