What you listening to RIGHT now?

Have to say that when I heard it yesterday, I was remarkably underwhelmed. Then again, I'm not really much of a post Beatles Lennon fan and Now and Then sounds (to me) much more like Lennon's solo efforts than a Beatles song.

It was pretty typical of what he was doing at the time, I think. What they've done with it is miraculous. It's Ringo's drumming that takes me right back. There is shades of I Am the Walrus about it.

Had a wee run to the local antique/junk store yesterday and picked up some vinyl, started with Ray Davies (kinks) and now on hootie, some Chicago, James Taylor, and Bob Seger to come later.

3 used and 2 new, total spend £39, good with that.

Tell Me On A Sunday by Marti Webb. Sorting through some LP's recently while clearing things for Christmas and realised I hadn't played it for years. Sill sound good.

I absolutely love Gary Moore. I might have to put his best of on.
It was so easy for him, like other geniuses like Beck and Hendrix , their biggest problem was to prevent overplaying.
The only 'great' I can't remember overplaying was Peter Green.
