Where have all the 50D's gone?

I'v been looking to buy a canon 50D but the only one's are now on e-bay, why? Now the 60D has come out, have canon pulled all the 50D stock? I would like a new one but it now look's like being second hand one. Any advice, thank's.
 
I have a 4 week old one in the classifieds..
 
Glad I got mine when I did (only about a month ago) stock was getting a bit then even then. Kerso and HDEW Cameras both had 50D's available then. May be worth a call or an email.

Hope you find one.
 
Have you tried smaller camera shops, not sure if Campkins in Cambridge have any, might be worth a call
 
I've just received a new 50d from eBay, it was located in Birmingham.. had a look at the shutter count and there was 19 shots taken. Well happy as its a quite a different feel from my 1000d...
 
I think some of the local camera shops will still have a few 50d's left.

Save yourself the disappointment and buy a 7D instead;)

Of course if you have never used a 40D then you'll be none the wiser although to be fair to Canon it is a perfectly fine camera
 
I have a 20d, the 50d look's like the next jump. The 7d look's a bit too rich as i have not yet invested in any "L" glass yet, i have only sigma!!!
 
Like I said, I have a 50d for sale... and L glass :D
 
There's a company called Panamoz that still have them, but not sure if it's safe or not, might be worth looking into.
 
If you look on the camera pricebuster site there seem to be 2 shops stocking them in the body only option and a few stocking them with various kit lenses. Hope you're able to find one.
