I need to stock up on a number of CF cards for an up-coming trip. Any recommendations on where I can buy a few without breaking the bank. Also, what should I be looking for?

The current one I use is a 4GB Sandisk Ultra 30 MB/s and it seems pretty good.

Amazon is the best bet. You'll get ripped off if you buy in Jessops/LondonCameraExchange/PC World etc..

I just bought some transcend 8GB class 10 (100 meg/sec) SD cards off amazon for £7.40 each. Never had an issue with transcend cards. You could get these and a cf to sd adapter

Hi

I usually try Amazon / Play / 7dayshop, worth looking at Jessops - they sometimes have great offers on, also Dixons group can be worth a look on line as they have had some good buys on line (although not seen any for a few months now).

There is also Ian (Kerso) on here - trade section - might be worth dropping him an e-mail to see how much

just bought 3 Transcend 8GB SD Card (SDHC) - Class 10 from mymemory £25 delivered.

Thanks all. Appreciate the replies and I'll have a look through the links tomorrow :)

Just bought 4gb Sandisk Ultra cards for £13:99 delivered from Picstop.co.uk (CF)

I have two 16g Cf cards from Amazon. Both 400x and yes they cost £50 each but as I do a lot of shoots with fast machines I didnt want the card to slow down my burst shots.

Don't be tempted by eBay. I got caught with two very very good cf fakes sometime ago and only found out when Sandisk broke the news after one failed. I'd also be careful buying from Amazon Marketplace.

Thanks all. I got a couple of Sandisk on offer at 7dayshop earlier in the week

Have used MY Memory.com and 7 Dayshop quite regularly and have found them both to offer excellent value and fast delivery too.both Highly recommended
