Arthur

^^^^ That's just downright indecent! :D

LOL. Makes me feel better anwyay - I've cancelled the appointment with the shrink.

Made that call, to cancel the appointment, a bit too quick! You're vulgar  .. as for pepper, that person needs serious :help:; so do most who've contributed with lists here.

This is not a good thread to follow .. it should carry a health and safety warning in its' title :cautious:

I'm not a cry baby :dummy:

Raa, I was told on good authority that you are looking to sell the Mamiya 150 mm. :p

I was considering selling the whole lot but I think I'm going to Cornwall for a couple of weeks in February so will be taking it there. I wouldn't really want to split anyway, the full kits seem to fetch more if I do eventually decide to sell.

It is a berry nice lens though, just not as long as you think when using it

It's nice to see that I'm not alone collecting a lot of gear... I'm just 22 so I have plenty of time to get an huge collection :D

Now I'm looking for an APS film camera because today arrived 25 APS films and other 25 35mm films...

I saw some Canon Ixus that look great and they are cheap...

Oh yes, I fogot - the wife has an Ixus APS camera too!

You're right Laz - very cheap they are but make sure you get one with a battery - they are *very* pricey compared to what you pay for the camera - last time I paid £6.90 for a battery and only £3 for the camera - in a leather Canon case too with Canon Strap. If I remember correctly, the manual was £3!

Arthur

Lazzaros, I was going to say you can have my APS Ixus for nothing but then I noticed you're in Portugal... If there's a cheap way for me to get it to you, it's yours. :)

Am I too late to add the Rollei SL35E that just arrived?

Arthur :D

That sounds great. I don't know if Royal Mail without insurance and tracking would be cheap. :)

This will be more for fun. Nothing serious. It would be used mostly on vacations I think.

Anyway it would be another one in the collection...

I'll whack it on the franking machine at work tomorrow and find out how much - If it's under a pound you'll have an Ixus to play with in a few days or so (y)

Thanks for your kindness Mike :)

I have 25 films to use on it so I think I'll have a lot of fun with some snapshots...

I was going to Say, if Ambermile hadn't offered I could have sorted something out to go with the APS films, I've got a Nikon Pronea on Ebay at the moment going very cheap and I have a beautiful Minolta Vectis with every Lens ever made for it and Flash too.

Wasn't me, t'was Mike.

Arthur

That Minolta has intermutable lenses as a SLR?

I dind't understand very well...

(my english isn't 100% hehe)

interchangeable?

Yes the Nikon Pronea is an APS SLR and takes F lenses so is quite a good camera.

But the Minolta Vectis is quite like this

s1_s100_family.jpg

That Minolta looks better. I'm not really into Nikon to be honest.

These are your equipments?

No it was a stock picture I found on the internet showing all the lenses that it came with, I was just about to find the other one out and take photos of the actual camera and lenses themselves. BRB

My film collection consists of my GORGEOUS Nikon FM silver with manual focus 50mm f1.8 oh and an F80.

Strange but I bought the F80 after careful planning so that I had a film camera that could use all my lenses etc. I bought the FM to take IR film and when I did I remember someone saying "Once you have the FM you will never use the F80". I thought that a little silly but to be honest the FM is my favourite of the two. It's an absolute corker :)

It looks really cool. Personally I prefer compact cameras because they are more portable and I don't need to "think" when I shoot. These APS films don't get great performance because the format is too small so I don't think that buying a set like that would be good for me.

Thanks to Mike I'll get one Canon Ixus soon and I'll test this format. I'm thinking breaking the casset to take the negativ and scan it. I'm telling this because in Portugal (I don't know about other countries) they develop the film and print the photographs only. Then the negative would be inside the plastic casset...
