Wireless hard drive

Does this operate in terms of allowing you to access the data wirelessly without connecting to the device via cable? Or does it just “wirelessly” back up to another cloud? does something portable exist that offers both?

quick read it works as a wireless hotspot with storage, so you connect to it as a wireless network and you can then copy date to it, also it has an SD slot in it so i suspect you can copy the contents of the SD card to the HDD.

@Mr Bump That's exactly how it works. Plus it can be used as a small power bank/USB charger and you can backup SD cards (which you can set to happen automatically upon insertion - as long as the drive is powered on obviously)
