Year Long Gamble

[danhardwick]

Just saw this posted on Facebook by a friend of mine, A one year long exposure through a pinhole camera of Toronto's skyline.

Pretty impressive from such a primitive device. Certainly one to talk about if it was on your wall.

P.S Apologies if this is in the wrong thread. Please adjust as necessary

Very nice it is too. Bit of a step up from the 6 month exposure of Bristol a few years ago.

A year long exposure! I hope they didn't have to wait for the noise reduction to finish

Looks good and was a good read as well, but not sure I'd have the patience to wait that long !!

Interesting idea, but would it have looked much different with a 6 month exposure? Or a 3 month one?

There wasa guy did this in New York or one of the big cities in the US anyway and captured the actual construction of buildings in the image.

I remember reading that he got permission to attach 3 cameras to scaffolding on a building that was having work done on it, when he went back after the year he realised he'd left the lens cap on one of them. Oops!
