I think one of the interesting things about portraiture is that we are all touched and influenced by lots of different things.
I'd be really interested to see everyones favourite portrait. Whether its from a renowned photographer, a respected friend or even one of your own.

I'll start of with mine.

a Cindy Sherman photograph from the untitled film stills collection i love this because it seems so elegant and the tones are just beautiful.

So lets see :)

I believe i'm right in saying that Mr Churchill was a bit unimpressed as his cigar was taken off him, and he always has his portraits done with his cigar.
