As the title says really. I currently have a photium website am currently looking at developing a wedding site to go along side. I have looked at the new zenfolio website system and it looks quite good. Maybe not as straight forward, but looks nice all the same. What I do like is that you can have password protected galleries and the fact it only costs £66 a year.

On my current subscription to photium its costing me £7 a month and I don't get the password protected galleries.

What are peoples thoughts on the two sites. I am really tempted to move over to zenfolio, but I have put alot of effort into my photium website.

I've just set up a zenfolio site following a shoot I did on Saturday with the Woodland trust. Previously I've used Flickr and people have contacted me for prints etc. Apart from being not very professional and a pain in the posterior I wanted something that would enable me to password protect a gallery that people could access without having to join.

So far I've only set up the one gallery but it was very straightforward and also easy for people to order from as someone has already ordered 5 prints.

I'm setting up a photium site at the minute and by the sounds of it I've got the same subscription as you. I do seem to recall that you can upgrade to get this facility, but that would mean going from 'Light' to 'Advanced' which would cost an extra £9.53/month.

This obviously works out more expensive than the Zenfolio option, but you could claw this extra expense back by saving time in not having to creat another site???
