The lighting is fab, so bright with wonderful colours. Brilliant set as well the first one is my fav.

Hi all, Im having a go at getting abit closer to insects so have bought a coupling ring to reverse mount my nikon 35mm 1.8g onto my Sigma 105mm. My first attempt at shooting almost completely put me off the idea, nothing but blurred images, super shallow DOF and the working distant to subject...

Now thats something ive never seen before, a fly blowing bubbles.... what the heck is all that about!??? Great pics though!!

The first shot is great, id maybe blur the leaf on the right to keep the focus purely on the fly but lovely lighting and colours. 2nd shot is fab too!!

They are beautiful cats, possibly my favourite big cat. Got a brief glimpse of one in Africa followed by a no show in India but a leopard safari in Sri Lanka will soon be on the cards. Looks like you've just woke him up lol lovely shot.

I tried reversing a 35mm on the end of my Sigma 105mm for abit of extreme macro but that stuffs impossible especially handheld. I dont know what magnification that gave me but i quickly gave up since i didnt really know what i was doing and after googling diffraction i was definitely getting...

I think if the grass was in focus it wouldn't be so bad (not that its a bad picture) but for some reason the blurred lines making my eyes go funny lol :confused: although to be fair im no expert and its a much better shot than i could have taken as you'll see from the lack of photos i post lol...

Thats quite nice, though i am finding the blade of grass its holding onto abit of a distraction and kinda gets in the way of focusing on the bug. However gotta say you have some great flickr pics!!!
