Show us yer film shots then!

Two great photos of subjects that suit b&w well. I love Tallinn, out of the places I've visited (which admittedly isn't that many), it's my favourite by far

I love it too. We visited last year and really wanted to go back ASAP. It's got a hell of a lot going for it - the culture, sights, food, drink etc - and the Estonians are simply wonderful people. Not wanting to sound like an old fart, but we found the younger people so positive, well educated and great to mix with. I don't think we met anyone who wasn't absolutely charming and friendly.

Re. Brexit and the UK being 'full up': I think a much better solution would be to allow unlimited migration from Eastern Europe...but maintain the population by kicking out the same number of Brits. Am I crazy?!

who'd take them/us...

...but the eastern European's children would turn\become into Brits, so it would be a never ending cycle :D

Love the ghost sign, history hidden in plain site

Thanks Adrian!

I'd love to spend six months driving round France seeking out these signs and documenting them before they disappear for ever.

The climb up onto the top platform of the Wheel invloves negotiating a narrow spiral staircase, interesting if you meet anyone large coming the opposite way!

Top platform access Laxey Wheel.jpg

The water wheel worked a pump up in the valley to drain the mines of water.

The circular motion of the wheel was converted into horizontal motion and transfered to the pump via a long wooden beam carried atop an impressive viaduct

really like the 2nd shot in particular, love the angles created.

Recently I visited the Shildon branch of the National Railway Museum, and by chance there was a classic car display outside. These were taken with Portra 400 in a Mamiya RZ67 and home developed in the Fuji Hunt X-Press kit:

In 2013, I bought a bulk film loader with some Kodak Plus X film in it. No idea how old the film was or how stored but clearly fairly old. I tried two cassettes of the film before becoming ill. I have just refound the cassettes and developed them - Rodinol 1:50 - the results are rather dark and grainy - I suspect the age of the film as much as anything.

Well as for dark, unless you are talking about the neg thought most of the pics were too bright and needed adjusting in Photoshop........ just nit picking as I've nothing else to do as it's raining and no boot sale today o_O :D

A couple taken In Castletown, IOM...again with the M-4 onto Delta 400

Composing the old lifeboat house shot with the reflection of the lighthouse in the window without having my reflection in the frame was no easy task:confused:....35mm focal length was barely wide enough, but hey, when that's all ya got, you make do:p

John, some interesting results from this film, as you say quite grainy, although they work with your subject material in my view. I wonder was there any marking on the edge of the film to confirm it was Kodak Pan X? I too bought a bulk loader a couple of years ago and it came with some films reported to be Kodak Pan X 125. When I processed the first role I used LC29 and treated at Pan X. but found no edge markings. I have since been told it is probably some sort of technical recording film. I have posted and example below taken with my Bessa L and 15mm Heliar. Grainy too!

Blimey Paul, that Vista comes up nicely for you! Like them all, first and last are excellent, but no 4 I really really like.

Good work Paul.
