The current 23mm f1.4 is about £800 and if the rumored price is correct then the new leans is only £100 more. Still expensive but you can argue that the extra £100 is justifiable if the image quality is better and focus is faster. Compare that to the 33mm f1.4 which I am really interested in...

Maybe check your JPGs, if they are similar to the RAW files then it's a camera setting problem, if not then it could be the way they are imported into LR. I had the R6 for a couple of weeks and it's files are just gorgeous

Dare I compare this to the Nikon DF? That didn't sell well and Nikon discontinued it after the first generation. I know this one is cheaper but it just doesn't feel right and the lenses look awful

But wouldn't a scheme like this require millions of customers buying into it? If you look at cars, TVs, mobile phones etc, you will find a high percentage of households owning at least two cars, 2-3 TVs and God knows how many mobile phones. I can't see this being the case with cameras and lenses...

My Fuji 80mm Macro worked well with my 1.4TC in terms of speed and image quality. I know it will also work the 2.0TC but not sure how it will compare to the 1.TC

If it’s one lens you are after I would go for the 16-55mm f2.8 for the ultimate image quality of all the Fuji lenses in that range and you have the ibis to help when needed. The cheaper option would be the 16-80mm f4, which will give you more reach but it’s f4
