I was impressed with some acrylics at Focus - I think it was Kaleidoscope. I didn't like the metal noggins around the Loxley ones. I've seen Whitewall online as well - they seem quite reasonable but haven't seen one in the flesh. I'd be interested to know how you get on as I plan to get one...

I used to use my 50 all the time, but then I got a 30mm (Sigma 1.4) and use that instead now as the extra width is really useful, especially indoors or for more than one person.

I got some canvases done for a client recently and sent the printer the psd file. More difficult if you're doing it online though. I believe they have a way of decompressing the data from the jpg as the guy doing the printing also did a canvas for the same client from a fairly small jpg and...

I've used Cotswold Mounts - they're really helpful and good quality.

I looked at Kaleidoscope at Focus - their acrylics were lovely and reasonably priced.

It's worth giving fixation a call and letting them know what you're after. I was on the phone to them yesterday and a 70-200 was mentioned.

Sounds cool and maybe a little dangerous for the credit card! I won't be visiting though - buying online.

I did use the search function but only found one thread (negative) relating to used equipment purchases. The others are all about servicing. I'm interested to know if anyone else has bought equipment from them as it's a big purchase.

I'm interested in a used lens from Fixation but they don't have descriptions/photos of the lenses online. It's a lot to pay out for something unseen so I'm interested to know of anyone's experiences with them.
