I've been considering buying a drone as I think I'd use it more than my dslr and it may encourage me to get out more again. Would I be better waiting though now with all of the changes due? I don't want to invest 1k+ to not then be able to use it in a matter of months. Any advice would be great.

We used to have quite a good group on here from Leeds /Yorkshire. They have all sadly moved over to Facebook now from what I believe. I don't have an account so lost touch with them.

Turn off the lights, a steady tripod and remote release. Set camera to bulb for a long exposure turn the lights on for the last few seconds of the exposure. You'll have to experiment with the length of exposure dependent on ambient light. Or Take two shots one to expose for the lights Turn...
