    CIS for Epson

There is a cost effective temporary solution while will save a lot of paper/ink/time waste while trying to get ok results :) Rather than purchasing a profiling system, you can get custom profiles made for you fairly cheaply. You have the ink and probably already know what papers you want to...

Is it scaffold poles or something else?

    KTM X-Bow

Yea - your pole is way longer than mine (ooer missus ) For my tracking shots I use the pole from my studio boom, so it's not really long enough, but it's all I have to hand. I bought a massive section of box alluminium with the plan to run a wire over the top so it'd flex one way only...

Do you use suction cups or underbody rigs (or both)? The only bit I found I could use properly was the rear carbon spoiler. I did get a tracking shot of the front of the car, but I had to superclamp my pole directly to the suspension - which was pretty great as it was so secure compared to...

    Digital print lab recommendations?

I use a few test images for all the labs I try out and compare them back to back. It's probably the printing rather than the paper, but the results are nowhere near as good as from my (cheap) home printer that I tested with. But then my objective is quality rather than getting prints printed...

And a bugger to put my rig on it. The panels are so flimsy and there's almost no flat surface big enough for my suction cups.

It's you ... kinda ;) To get this shot I used a combination of strobing the flash and a long exposure which is why the spokes may look more static than normal tracking shots. Not by choice, but because it was backlit there was waaaay too much shadow. Pretty difficult to balance it...

I'm not a big fan of soft processing, but I quite like #1 #3 I think the thing that lets the images down is the model and the clothing. Get rid of the hat, black cardi and a more plain, but colourful dress (keep the boots). Give her something to make her laugh or animated and you're flyin' :)

Took 1 prime to my friends wedding...

Well done on limiting yourself to 1 lens :) Makes it tougher, but also more freeing in many other ways Critique ...? #1 I shoot bright, but this seems about 1-1.5 stops over. Could probably be rescued a bit in cameraraw #2 Remove boob/arm crease and maybe liquefy the chin up a bit The corner...

    Digital print lab recommendations?

I'm fortunate enough to have a big Epson tomake large prints on (A4-A0), but I've used digitalab and DSCL in the past for anything smaller. The quality was no-where near as good as the Epson, but as a high volume lab I figured they were ok ... until I tried printing some sample 6x4's on my...
