Cheers guys! I do get what you mean about 2 but was at the end of a long edit and was getting a bit bored, so was a case of 'that will do' :bonk: Yeah it's my second time panning. All the photo's on my Flickr are from the last 2 weekends. My ones from last weekend I couldn't get the shutter...

Thanks :) Really enjoyed shooting Motorsports, think I need a bit or practice before I think about upgrading any of my kit though. Still not happy with the sharpness of some of them. But just not sure if its down to the camera, lens, technique or a bit of everything :lol:

Was a good weekend out. My second time having a go at Motorsport photography. But I did find my d3100 and 55-200mm a bit limiting at times... One problem I was having though was not being able to get the whole car in focus! I was able to get part of the car in focus, but then the other bits...

Finally found a photo with the sort if DOF I would like to be able to achieve... Was at a car show at the weekend and only used my 35mm got some good photo's but think I'll try and get a 50mm 1.8D know it wont auto focus on my d3100, but they can be picked up quite cheap now...

Well my lens list so far is 10-20mm sigma, 18-55mm kit, 35mm, 55-200mm The ones I normal use for car shows are 10-20mm and 35mm and anything longer is a bit pointless unless it's quite... But am taking more about doing set up shoot's etc :)

Bit of both really... Which is making me sway towards 70-200...

Hey guys. Looking to getting into car photography now. But can't decide what lens I should get next... I am looking at getting really good DOF the car in focus and the background blown out. The lenses I have/use just now cars are 35mm 1.8 and a 55-200mm. But neither offer the DOF I want...

Have asked this before, but am still not sure.... Am going to Vegas in 4 weeks. Have been looking for a tamron 17-50mm but none have came up in my budget yet (around £200) So just now I have my d3100 18-55mm kit, 35mm 1.8 and a 55-200mm zoom. I know the 18-55mm preforms really well, but...

Just now I have a lowepro nova 160AW, and have managed to fit in my d3100 with the 18-55mm kit fitted, 35mm and 55-200mm. Just looking for a bit of extra space so I can carry my flash gun and a few other bit, cables, charger etc. Have been looking at the lowepro passport sling, looks perfect...

Sorry about this but have done a search, but there is just to much to choose from :thinking: Am looking for a camera bag, that doesn't look like a camera bag.... Most of the ones I have found either have got bad reviews or are just to small. :'( What I need is a bag to hold my d3100...

Do you really need a lens hood when using filters? Because cant see how you could use a lens hood with the slide in filters? :thinking:

Thanks for all the advice guys. Think am just going to go for screw in filters. Because I doubt I would ever use graduated ND filters as I can do most/all of those affects using light room. BUT.... Are there any down sides to getting a 77mm filter (biggest lens) and use something...
