Thanks Archangel - i was thinking of using it with vinyl - but wanted the lettering to be small (~5mm high) - so it sounds like this'll be no good ...saves me some cash i guess!
Evening all, a bit off topic this i know - but wondering if anyone has used one of these digital cutters? - have seen them online, but wondered what they're like in practice - are they any good, and how small could i cut text in sticky back plastic - say for titles to stick on the wall or on the...
Thanks Mark - no Onyx rip - haven't tried setting it as the lustre roll yet - will see how it goes! ...am thinking it was a false economy - I should have paid up and stuck to the Epson paper, as it's so much easier to just select it in their driver - by design no doubt!
Hi -
I've just bought some roll paper to use in an Epson 4000pro. Thought i'd try something other (=cheaper) than the Epson stuff and ordered a roll of "Pro Photo SATIN 200g/m² inkjet paper".
When it arrived, it turns out to be "Océ Smart Dry Photo Paper Satin FSC" IJM252 - and looks good...

I've not intentionally changed the colour space before (not sure how i would) - but maybe i've got different defaults set up for a normal save and a 'save for web' ...will have a look at that. Thanks!
This is weird - i've clearly done something wrong when i resized the image - but i cannot replicate it, so I'm not sure what I've done ...and if I don't understand it I'll probably make the same mistake again! :bang:
The GF makes jewellery and I'd volunteered to take the photos (which...
Yes if only just - its the 4000pro which prints onto 17inch roll paper ...I used to use one with work that only ever had genuine ink in it and got amazing results - but am looking (needing) to be a little bit more economical for my use!
Thanks Scraggs, i'll have a look at that, there seem to be a few more inks available in the states which sound far more convincing - ie they refer to the archival life of the print etc and offer default profiles for ink & paper combinations.
Poah - yes, i've Googled it but to no avail...
