I have the 17-40 and 50mm f/1.4 combination and it works very well. I'd recommend it.

They are a lot less grippy in the dry as the temperature increases. Definite tendency to lock up under heavy braking.

I think the colour of the car is too close to that of the surroundings. Even with a crop it would still be a bit lost.

Curious but I think it's more atmospheric in colour.
