Thanks guys (I think). It is a bit of fun, but it's raising money so I'm in. A little worried there are 3 weeks to go though! Used cars? Sounds like I have no hope of convincing power stations that I can fix them and save them money!

I went from a 350D to a 40D earlier this year. I find the 40d a lot more comfortable and ergonomic to use do to the increased size and wheel on the back. There are a good few more settings as well, one I use a lot is spot metering. ISO handling is also superior and the additional mega-pixies...

Indeed, excellent balance of movement and sharpness, especially on #3! I need to practise more...

Loving #2, the clarity of the three 'bursts' really sets it off nicely!

I think I will try to get a tripod up and see how the crowd is. It's a very popular show being in East London and free. Might be worth stepping back a bit to get more space, will check it out early on the day to see what the layout is.

I was about to ask a similar question! Glad I searched. There seems to be some 'discussion' between tripod and hand held!
