Can anyone recommend a intermediate to advanced Photography Handbook that has been published in the last five years and is suitable for a Fujifilm Finepix "Bridging Camera " S100FS user who want to improve his picture taking technique?

I've got the use of a device for digitising 35mm slides and negatives, but I have some even older larger negatives in a variety of sizes. Any advice from someone who have experience of turning such negatives into digial files would be appreciated.

I would suggest you look more toward central Pembrokeshire, to the north east of Haverfordwest. Then you are equidistant from South Pembs and the Tenby area, The Haven, Dale and the beautiful River Cleddau. You have the county town of Haverfordwest and Narberth, Oakwood and Bluestone...

A wander round the markets will give you plenty of colour and Parisian flavour. Also I would bother to go right to the top of the ET to get you panoramas of the Paris skyline. It is pretty impressive even for the first level...... and Notre-Dame looks impressive from one of the river boats.

Thanks for all of the advise and the discussion my query stimulated. Just to let you know I've picked up a second hand 67mm Hoya PRO1 Digital Circular Filter via Ebay. It came today and is in excellent condition and was a reasonable price so I'm very pleased with it.

Can anyone recommend a medium priced but reasonable quality circular polariser. I'm look for a 67mm to fit on an Fuji S100fs.
