My dad got thrown out of the Russian Embassy in Bulgaria about 20 odd years ago (in the middle of the Cold War). He had a camera around his neck and thought this building was a hotel and was just popping in for a pee, only when he literally came flying out of the door after being tossed out by a...
Theres a few Indian firms around here, one of which if I recall are a building company and their logo on their van was 'You've tried the cowboys, now try the Indians'
Another Indian pest control company used the slogan 'Sikh and Destroy'

Very interesting stuff there, thanks for that link. Some of the facts and figures are amazing, using tolerances down to 1000ths of a mm is mind blowing. Theres certainly a hell of a lot of work that goes into each lens, they are far from 'just bits of glass'

Yes I have the f/4 version unfortunately, but you probably have a point about the balance, as of course the 70-200 doesn't get longer with the focal length unlike the 400.
Thanks for that, I will look into that shortly, and yes I think I have totally caught L Disease now :>

Ive just got my upgrade to LR2 email from adobe, I think Ill upgrade when Ive got my head together having just woke up, although I think £85 is a bit on the steep side but as LR is great its probably worth getting as I cant afford PS CS3, let alone know how to work it :>
The performance issues...
Just had a fish around in LR, come up with these, nothing special mind you. They do need cleaning up a tad, specially #2, I just havent got around to it yet, Post processing drives me insane.
