Thanks.... Just looked through my settings and it was set on focus priority. I've set it to the release setting and hopefully this will sort out the problem.

Wrong you need to control the DOF which is a range of distance not just a flat plane of focus!!!

Here's my "Critique" Background too prominant (the Cars the star?) or is it the crappy pallets? With those f/2.8 lenses you have you should be able to sort out the DOF? Still as you only have a Head Gasket as a brain and thats out of a Datsun you can be forgiven . ... :D Paul

Thx Pete. I am really pleased with it which is not often the case with me. Where are you going in Oz? We were in the Brisbane area most of the time but spent 3 days in Sydney and a Week on the Sunshine Coast at Coolam Beach.
