Castelli are my brand of choice, they look great and the quality is excellent. I normally need to add a size to get their stuff to fit e.g. M to L. As above regarding dhb, I used them for years with no issues, the quality is surprisingly good for the price. Bib sorts are my preference over...

Thanks for the feedback guys. Just got back and have a few more photos to go through. The second shot was hard to frame from where I was, I managed to get a a shot during the day from closer after reading the feedback here, I'll post it up tomorrow if I get a chance.

Took a few shots on holiday in Malta. Not long started so rookie feedback is kindly received, good or bad. I quite like this first one apart from the fact that some parts are over exposed, is there any way to prevent this or is it acceptable? Not sure about the crop on this?

I'll certainly look in to a monopod, sounds like a good idea, same with shooting in raw as I have not ventured in to that world yet. I was using priority mode and trying to keep the shutter speed above 1/20th. I also tried all of the metering modes, evaluative, partial, spot and centre...
