Thanks for all of the comments, much appreciated. It seems that time, and the weather, has not been on my side recently. Hopefully I can get on top of the challenge again and spend a bit more time on the image capture.
Time to catch up again. Thank goodness the financial year end is now out of the way. Bit of a shoehorn this one, but the ground is usually as wet as the village name.

Hope your mum's up and about very soon. The operation and recovery is a lot better than it used to be. Same thing happened to my mum last year and two days after the op they had her on her feet. She's fully back to normal now, but it did knock her confidence a bit.
Run two mics into the desk; one for the performer and one for the ambience. We use a room mic when we use in-ear monitors in order to create a bit of vibe in the in-ear mix and also when recording a live set.
