I'm thinking of maybe going for a Panasonic G7 or G80 and a 45-200 lens. At Manchester Airport the maximum focal length I was using on my Canon 55-250 was 180mm at most according to the exif data.
I really like the features in the Panasonic cameras.
I'll keep using my Fz330 till summer then...
Your camera isn't much different to my Fz300. I'd definitely reset the settings. As mine isn't grainy. I'd also lock the ISO to no more than 400 on these cameras.

Maybe I need to get over the fact for what I do with my images (Flickr) the IQ of the Fz330 is fine.
It's not as good in low-light but I very rarely take photos at in low-light.
Well after owning a Canon 100D for a year and a half I decided it wasn't being used much apart from my weekly trip to Manchester Airport.
I was using my Canon S120 mostly and decided trade my 100d for a Gx80 which is excellent and lightweight and takes nice images. But a 250mm telephoto lens for...
Or do I keep my S120 as my pocket Cam and trade my gx80 and fz330 and replace them with a Fz1000.
I use my fz330 for Airport due to its long lens which is quite good for a small sensor. But it suffers in low light.
I use the gx80 for indoor photos of my reptiles.
Wondering if the fz1000 would...
I currently have three cameras
A Panasonic fz330 for its big zoom, even though it has a small sensor it's great for my trips to Manchester Airport.
A Panasonic gx80 which replaced my Canon dslr
And the Canon S120.
Looking to replace my trusty Canon Powershot S120 in the next few months. Looking at the following so far. The Canon G7X mk2 or the Panasonic LX15.
both seem very similar.
It will mostly be used when out walking, mountain biking, and for when I'm on holiday.
You not impressed by Jessops. I usually buy from Wex online or visit lce in Manchester or Wilkinson's in Blackburn. Also mpb are good, but have become a bit slow in communication lately.
No response from Jessops not answering the customer services line either.
Decided I'll keep it for 6 months and revaluate the situation. And if I still don't like it, I'll trade in for another Canon/Nikon DSLR.
Only thing I've done is undo the tape for charger and camera strap plastic. No software is opened. The seal on the box tab is the only thing different from delivery and a tiny fingerprint smudge on the camera screen.
One thing that bothers me is, it took ages for me to get through to customer services to answer some security questions when I placed order.
So I don't think they will be prompt answering emails.
