    Graffiti

I agree, the second crop is the best, the flats are a bit annoying, too bright compared to the rest of the frame. I found myself wondering if that black thing on the creek was a duck or just rubbish. On a second thought, I know it may be a bit late, but the shot taken from the right could've...

    What would you do?

yeah, on this particular photo I thought to the left would work, just to get rid a bit of the light source you have on the right. As at least to me, direct the eye on that direction (for a few seconds)

    What would you do?

On the first, I would crop to the left a bit, I like the second although I would've changed the angle a tiny bit. But I quite like them.

Pride And Prejudice - Lyme Park

Sorry I took the liberty to edit the first. I desaturated the grass, desaturated a bit the house, tried to match the colour on the tree (top and bottom) and darkened the lower corners to avoid distraction in those areas. I know is not perfect, but just to show what I ment. Uploaded...

Pride And Prejudice - Lyme Park

Nice location, personally I liked the third it has a nice angle and you show the building well. The first is nice, but the grass is a bit too processed for my liking. I quite like the B&W specially the second and third.

The SELECTIVE COLOUR (oh no!) thread

Personally I don't think is that bad, personally I think it would work better if you selected the confetti behind the couple (as if they're the source of attention, colour, happiness, etc living a trail behind them) rather than in front, as it looks a bit as if it's fake confetti, you know what...

The SELECTIVE COLOUR (oh no!) thread

I used Photoshop if I remember correctly (I did those shots about 4 years ago) You created a layer, then selected what you wanted to leave B&W (or color don't remember) and then you applied paste or merge (sorry I'm not very familiar with PS.)

    Photoshop tuition in Cornwall ?

Forgot to mention, one of the good things about NS is the fact that they offer free webinars, is better if you seclect U.S. as your website, that has a broader selection. Go to learning and on demand, there're also live videos, but you need to register for those (all is free)

+1 I would add St. Austell and bodmin moor in that area. If you go west, then Penzance, moushole, Land's End, St. Ives, Geevor mine, and a long etc.

Capture a stranger street style : Part 2

Taken in June, on my first visit to Canterbury This was taken 2 years ago in St. Ives, I know is a bit out of focus, but I had my camera on my bag. Got it out, focused really quickly and snapped it. I like her expression, kind of like she has done something evil he he Not...
