Car buyers should have 'long, hard think' about diesel

And, the award for the biggest generalisation goes to......Mr Bump, congratulations, how does it feel to have beaten off all the stiff competition.

    Any car painters here

How bad is it, got any images? There are some members on here who are into car detailing, I'm a beginner but I've managed to remove scratches on my wife's car without the need to paint it at all, used some cutting compound. Depends on the depth of the scratch though.

    Washing Your Car!

Anyone got a recommendation for a decent machine polisher for a first time user? I've read that rotary ones are not really for a beginner and seen a few people mention DAS6 but there seems to be a few different types/models of those. My wife is pestering me for an idea for my birthday present...

Or the viewing platforms and fan zone, not sure if that realistically means it's pointless taking one., it's a bit vague on where you could use a telefoto lens

There are plenty of locations where you can find that perfect shot – go out and explore the Circuit Park! All equipment brought into the Circuit...

Car buyers should have 'long, hard think' about diesel

Those are two different things, it's one thing to relate your personal experience (good and bad) but 'most EV ideas' being posted on this thread are just that, ideas, some more fantasy than others and they do not form part of your personal experience nor should they be used to 'set the record...

Car buyers should have 'long, hard think' about diesel

The question you were asking 'is it greener though? ' (ref hydrogen to EV) is not really answered by showing which is currently the most efficient fuel type. Nuclear fusion is quite efficient I believe but I doubt you'd describe it as the most enviromemtly friendly. What is the environmental...

Car buyers should have 'long, hard think' about diesel

I think Neil was alluding to overall environmentally friendly, as hydrogen powered cars would do away with the need to mine the materials for the batteries in an EV.

Car buyers should have 'long, hard think' about diesel

Well, as someone who does 25-30k miles a year meaning I fill up with diesel at least once every week I can honestly count on the fingers of one hand the amount of times in the last 10 plus years I have had a smelly hand after filling up. If it's happening on a regular basis something is going...

I believe Tesla already charge an overstay fee on their super chargers. Not that I have ever seen more than one Tesla being charged at any one time, admittedly I don't visit service stations very often though so not the best to judge I guess.

Max is young, he'll learn from Brazil, no doubt he'll have other hard lessons to learn in the near future but he is a good racer and is very quick. Better he learns now before the RB is capable of challenging for a championship I guess. I'd class myself as a Lewis fan but I do like Max, he has...

    Jeremy Vine

Sorry, who's Jeremy Vine? I'm going out on a limb that he's a radio 2 presenter bitter at not getting the drivetime show.
