    MPB.

That's weird, last year I asked for a quote for a D810 I was selling, they quoted such a good price, more or less what I paid for it, I asked them to confirm they were happy with it being a grey import. They said as long as it's in the sate described they would and they did, so they must have...

    Has anyone used Mifsuds?

I recently part exchanged 2 lenses against a used lens they had for sale, unfortunately upon testing the lens I found it to be pretty soft in the corners and not as they'd described , mint - as new. I contacted Mifsuds the same day and got a response the following morning before they opened...

    Has anyone used Mifsuds?

I used them recently and I've never dealt with such lies and underhanded trading, I'd never use them again.

Panamoz - 5% discount on Bank Transfers?

They've removed the BACS Payment discount, I emailed them earlier to ask where the links had gone and all they said was "We’ve temporary stopped the bank transfer service, but we expect it will be back within the next few weeks" I've used them for over 3 years now, wouldn't hesitate to...

    B&W London Eye

Thanks for all the input, it's not until you get some critique that you look at it differently. I agree the areas around the clouds are to dark and I've tried cropping a little more but didn't have much success but you can guarantee when I get the chance to visit the Eye again I'll be looking at...

Wex - 50% off Kata Backpacks

This is a great deal, just bought a Kata Minibee 111UL from Wex at 50% off. Luckily I had in my basket just a few days ago the Manfrotto version, as they have now taken over Kata, on their website and was hovering over the buy now button. I can only see 3 models with the 50% off, all backpacks...

    B&W London Eye

Hi Carl, here it is in colour, this has been processed, which like Marcus, HDR seems to attract me more often than not.

    B&W London Eye

Hi all, Though I'd share this picture with a little prompting by TP to participate a little more :) Some of you may have already seen it, it's been on Flikr for some time now. Anyway, it's one of my favourites and thought I'd share it with the rest of the TP members. Taken with a Nikon Df and...

I fine tuned my 24mm 1.4G and 50mm 1.4G this weekend, both needed an adjustment of -10. Very easy to do.

Advice on bringing camera in from the cold

Thanks Bryan, I had heard rumours of placing your electrical gadgets into a plastic bag but wasn't sure if it was just a myth. I'm going to take a look at the link you posted now. Thanks again. Pete

Advice on bringing camera in from the cold

It's a private car park and probably safer in the car than in the staff room :) But yes, I do need to sort out insurance.

Advice on bringing camera in from the cold

I try and keep my camera within reach at all times which means its left in the car most of the time while working just in case I need it. I have some worries with the approaching cold weather. Upon taking it from my car and entering my house the other day I took the lens cap off and it...

    Hoya Pro 1 ND32/64 vs LCW ND500

    Hoya Pro 1 ND32/64 vs LCW ND500

Thanks for your reply but I'm really just wanted thoughts regarding manufacturer. Some people only buy B&W filters, others Kenko etc. The reason I wanted a comparison with the two manufactures mentioned was because they both have Ultra thin filter frames to help avoid vignetting.
