canon 300mm f2.8 is

I think i would sell the 300, you have more scope with the 70-200, but it realy deepends which you use the most

didnt know you could get one like that, I have ordered one with out glass, only £10 and they do one with glass for under £15, so I will see how it goes and maybe end up with both, thanks for the replys Rick

I to would go 17-40 and 24-105

I would go with the 17-40, I have had them both and IMHO it's a lot better, not as wide but IQ is great on the 17-40

had them both just sold the 28-70, to be honest I could tell no difference in the 2, the only reason i did sell the 28-70 is it is getting on a bit and when I sent it off to be cleaned they said spares are getting hard to fine for these now. difference in price second hand is going to be...

for me I would say yes I would get it fixed, its worth nothing as it is and cant be used, at least by spending the money you will have a great little lens again

I had the 28-70 and have now changed to the 24-70 its a great lens ideal for what I need. I think it is a good walk about lens, nice and sharpe. the line up you are looking sounds good I dont have any experence of the 70-300, and the 10-20 can only be used with a crop body something you might...

I have the 17-35 and its a great lens. as said some say beeter then the 16-35 mk1
