I have an iPad 3. A search on google says the files need to be in a folder named DCIM, I'm shooting on Sony A77 and I'm not convinced you can change the name of a folder on the camera. Would this make any difference?
Yes tried closing all apps, restarting it. This is the first time I've used it since upgrading to ios 6. I'm wondering if that's got anything to do with it
I'm trying to import photos to the ipad with the connection kit. It's always worked fine but I've gone to use it tonight and it won't import. I plug in the connector, put the sd card in, the photos app opens and the photos appear but when I press import I get the spinning wheel but nothing...
Some top notch photos in this thread, hope mine has a place here!
Taken after the snow in Derbyshire a couple of weeks ago on a P&S then merged in PS.

Two cracking shots but I can't help but think how sad it is that this happened at all. For the last few years it's stood empty and unused and as soon as a plan to resurrect it comes out this happens. Hopefully something good will out of this, after all it is one of Hastings' only landmarks!
I have it in Sony fit, got to admit I've only used it on a couple of occasions but it does exactly as it's supposed to. Does everything I need it to but I'm no strobist :)
I use a Tomtom 1 all day at work, the only thing wrong with it is the maps are out of date but that's not it's fault. At home I have a Tomtom GO910 and it's the dogs :) I can only imagine the new range of GO are going to be even better
