Great images. Though i also agree that the HDR does nothing for me. Though i will admit that they look more interesting. Maybe the HDR would look better if it was more subtle. I would love to own one of these split screen VW's :)

These images were taken at a Red Nose day event, which i decided to go along to, to start me off with some studio photography :) I had a great time. And am proud of my images! Thank you to Minky Rae and her snake terrance. And to Tom Edge for helping me with my first basics on lighting.

Thank you for all of your comments. I agree about the backgrounds. And looking at the images further i can see that maybe they are slightly OOF. These were some of the first shots that i took with my 5D MKII, still a lot to learn! I appreciate your comments :)

I dont think that there out of focus. The first image the focus is a little off, as its in the center of his head/beak, rather than the eyes and the second the focus is on the eye. But thanks for your comments.

And i don't mean by my comment that lightroom isnt cheating, but sometimes images can do with a bit here and there :)
