    Another place to avoid shopping!

Just had a friend chirp up about his attempted purchase of something at this website with less than stellar results. My friend commented that he tried buying something on his credit card, only to have the card declined, then a week later, his provider ringing him up regarding possibly...

    Bright side of the moon

Just a bit of lighting tweaking mostly, the shot was taken mid afternoon so the sky was changed from blue to black and it helped pull more detail out on the moons surface :)

looking for a mono pod head

If you look around you should be able to pick up a tidy Manfrotto 496RC2 for around the £30-40 mark, i did on here a few weeks back, and it should be ample holding your kit, mines solid on a gripped D7000 with a 80-200mm 2.8 lens on the end :)

    Nikon 80-200

Use the same combination here, both pieces of kit are wonderful tbf, even handholding it for a days worth of shooting the lens balances so nicely on the body, it's brilliant, Picture quality is pretty damn good too :)

    Lensbaby Spark

Don't know about it being new, a friend of mine had one on his camera a few weeks back, seemed a little weird trying to squeeze it enough and hold the camera steady and click the shutter button and i don't think the shots came out either.

Do you actually like your own work?

only a little think since starting a little over 18 months ago, I've probably shot more than 5000 images but i think the ones i really love out of that lot could be counted on a single hand easily.

Nikon 80-200 2.8, views and opinions?

got the two ringer here, fantastic lens, it really is, don't let the size and weight put you off, i first started using mine on a nice sunny day handheld shooting wide open at 2.8 and nearly every shot came out in focus and brilliant, couple that with the all metal build, it's a great if...

Poll: To grip or not to grip

Grip definitely, makes the camera last longer and much better balance with longer heavier lenses and portraits :)

    kit/lenses/talent

To be honest i don't have an answer, i've only ever shot crop body cameras, so the only difference in my eyes would be how much more you see through the viewfinder, but from a non technical pof, I'd say no, both crop and full frame camera's are capable of similar quality work with the right...

    kit/lenses/talent

In my opinion, it is a mix of the 3, 75% Talent, 25% Equipment. Obviously it will come to the point that your equipment might just not cut it at a certain level or depending on how old it is, but it is mostly the person pushing the buttons and spinning the dials that makes the big difference...

    £2.99 for a £24.99 extra-large poster 45” x 30” (114.3cm x 76.2cm) + 50% off...

Mine arrived the other day, well within the specified delivery times, and wow, the quality on that scale is amazing, my shot was a random red arrows flyby i took on a D200 with a 80-200mm F2.8 lens and the reproduction is amazing, colors are spot on, contrast is there and no pixellated or grainy...

Picture framing? or Mounting? help needed

Hey Guys Right i have just taken delivery of a print i had made of one of my own shots The print in question is 45"x30" and i was wondering what the best way to get it framed would be for wall hanging. It is a simple print, not a canvas, so i'm really not sure where to go or what to...
