I lived in Caversham from about 1994 to the end of 2000 when I moved to South Africa.......... I love it here and only wish I'd made the move earlier....

I see you're from Berkshire. - which part? I used to live in Reading and before that Langley......and still have family there.
Having haunted this forum for a couple of weeks I'm realising how little I know about photography, but what little I do know is about photographing animals..... I'd second the idea of getting as low as possible and add that it's worth trying to skyline the animal if at all possible...... that...
I like the 3rd shot, not because of quality but because I was only a foot or two from the subject...... but I guess it's one of those 'you should have been there things'
