Great shot, but I hope you won't mind me pointing out it's a ship and not a boat :nono: ..... a boat is only a boat if its small enough to be lifted out and put aboard a ship, or if its a submarine. ;)

I personally like the second image best...... how about cropping the wood out so that you just have a full face tiger?

Having haunted this forum for a couple of weeks I'm realising how little I know about photography, but what little I do know is about photographing animals..... I'd second the idea of getting as low as possible and add that it's worth trying to skyline the animal if at all possible...... that...

I like the 3rd shot, not because of quality but because I was only a foot or two from the subject...... but I guess it's one of those 'you should have been there things'
