Wow, thanks so much for the feedback and the suggestions!
I didn't bother checking this again after the original comments regarding my choice of words, so to see some really good stuff when I came back was a welcome surprise. You've restored my faith in this forum!
Sorry - poor choice of words.
I'm aware the picture isn't fantastic technically and i'm not looking for in-depth critique, but would welcome any other comments/feedback (positve or negative).
This is sort of sport, sort of portrait (i'm in it :)) but I thought it was best in Landscapes.
Me and some of my friends from my triathlon club went open water swimming in Sunderland and my good lady Claire snapped this pic. I'm not looking for in depth critique or anything, but I love it...
Is that in Newcastle? I know it looks like the quayside bridge, but i'm struggling to get my bearings on it based on the background and the direction of the wires etc.
I thought it was the bridge in London (or Glasgow has one as well I think?)
That's an interesting comment Pete. I'm one (of the many i reckon) who does like your pictures, but if people widely DIDN'T like them, or more importantly if your customers didn't like (and therefore buy) them would you really not change they way you take/PP your pics?
I don't know you so...
He's spoiled rotten. To be honest my camera is the best xmas present he's ever had. I call it "plenty of photo opportunities" - he calls it "longer walks and to more places" :)
Oh, he loves it - he's a right poser. As you can see, he hates going down to the sea :)
Note the frogs legs. We've tried to teach him to lie down "properly", but he just won't have it!
Yesterday we took our dog, Kody, for his first modelling shoot at the beach after I got my new 450d for christmas.
As you can see, he's clearly hard done to and very upset.....
Just got my first ever DSLR - A Canon 450d - and at my girlfriend's request took 2 photos of her in "Faceook profile" style. They're literally straight out of the camera and have had no processing at all.
C&C will always be welcome on whatever I post as i'm an absolute novice, but i'm not...
