Show us yer film shots then!

On the way back to ESSEX from my 5-day Kirbys Coach Holiday we stopped at ST IVES in Cambridgeshire ( NOT the one in CORNWALL ! ) and I got a few snaps with SUNSHINE as the last trip there was DULL OVERCAST. 1984 MAMIYA C220 + 80mm f2.8 'Blue Dot' SEKORS, 1999 dated Fuji ASTIA 220 size home-processed.

The blue dot C220 and C330 were the best of the bunch and I see you're getting some great results.
I came across this the other day and thought it might be of some interest to you.

The colours on this roll of Kodak Ektar where out of whack for some reason. I was able to tweak most of them to get them looking ok, but had to convert these two to B&W to get them lookind decent. They look much better this way.

Yashicamat 124G
Kodak Ektar
Lab developed. Home scanned and converted to B&W in Lightroom because the colours were not right.

That's a surprise from a lab developed film.
I know Ektar gives me all sorts of problems during home development.
Nice job on the conversion though.

Nice work. Fond memories of St Ives. I used to cycle there from north Cambridge via the guided busway. Lovely part of the country.

I think the roll was slightly expired (although not enough to make a difference, I don't think), but I suspect I might have messed it up when shooting - possibly underexposing it.

I get where you are coming from. Ektar is fussy regarding exposure. More so than Portra 160.

Another Coach Trip this time with Family on August Bank Holiday Monday to the Kent towns of SANDWICH and DEAL -- never been there before. I used my 1978 Hasselblad 500CM with 1999 dated Fuji ASTIA 220 size in A24 back and processed myself in a BELLINI E6 kit. Not a great lot to snap in SANDWICH but there was the Old Toll Tunnel , River Stour, the Museum was Closed same as the Walled Garden ! In2023-08-29-0002.jpg2023-08-29-0004.jpg2023-08-29-0005.jpg2023-08-29-0006.jpg2023-08-29-0012.jpg2023-08-29-0015.jpg DEAL I got 'Concession rate ' £10 to get into the CASTLE -- not WORTH IT -- ! I got some CANNONS.

Lovely sharp shots and seems to me that the ETRS is one of your favourite cameras....it's also mine (y)

Thanks Brian. Yeah, it's a great camera. I wasn't sure about it when I first bought it, but it's really grown on me. I bought a 150mm lens for it recently to compliment the 50mm and 75mm I already had.

I was given several cassettes of well outdated KODAK EKTACHROME INFRA-RED slide film by a Studio Photographer years who who came to my Club and asked if anyone still uses FILM but when I said " YES but mine is all OUTDATED" he answered that if I liked 'Outdated Film' he had lots to empty from his fridge to make way for BEER ,so Son and I rushed to Benfleet , Essex to his studio and he gave me 10 packs 120 and lots of different 35mm including the Kodak EIR -- so SON tried to sell some on E-Bay at a huge price and the buyer complained that " The Processor said film had been damaged by HEAT and nothing on it " BUT when I did a TEST in C41 came out GREAT so this time used my BELLINI E6 Kit and although D - Max was low got results using a Gift OM-"SP camera with Yellow and Orange filters .

Still using my BELLINI E6 kit I tried a bit of 35mm Fuji RDP 100 in a 'Home-Made 1st Developer' and increased the COLOUR Developer to a 'Guessed' 7.5 mins instead of 6.5 mins for 'used' as it was quite Brownish -- the D Max was LOW and there was some weird Grain ( ? Reticulation ? ) but I got a set and corrected the Colour scans in FastStone Image Viewer -- CAMERA was my OLYMPUS OM-2n which was given to Son years ago by a Widow Lady and as he never USES it I 'took it over' -- I HAD tried my OLYMPUS Spot Program BUT I think the Electronics have finally GONE even with new batteries. I have now DUMPED that kit !
