17-70 or 18-70 For a Nikon D90

Right guys n gals its time for me to change my kit lens for something new.

im looking for something to replace my Nikon 18-105mm, ideally something that could be used in lower light conditions.

to range Range from 10mm to 50mm or there abouts as i have a 50-500 bigma so just trying to cover the lower range really.

Budget im open to sugestions bbut around 200ish.

iv been reading up on the lenses in the title but not sure which would be the better option. or if theres an even better option out there.

do you need 18mm on the wide end?

something like a Tamron 28-75mm or 17-50mm fixed 2.8 are cracking other options (sorry to muddy the water but tends to happen when you ask for lens advice )

There's a lot of love for the Nikon 18-70mm - a very sharp little lens, lightweight and great value for the money.

id like to get the 18mm however in the future i will be buying a wide angle lens, so not sure its worth it at the minute, or wether to go for something like you say....i really am open to suggestions so dont worry about aking the water muddy lol.

il have a look into the ones suggested so far.

If your going to get an ultra wide later then get the 28-75 tamron, I mean lets face it you are not going to want to try using the bigma every time you want a little more reach than 50mm, so the tammy would cover that and make a cracking walk around/portrait lens as well.
