Anyone know if there’s a smartwatch out there that has an fairly accurate step counter on it for £60 or under?

I’m just looking for a watch, Not a step counter that goes on my ankle, or an app.
I have two cheap watches that are way off the mark. I’d like a smartwatch that vibrates when I get a message or a call, and a step counter that is fairly accurate.
Wife has asked what I want for Christmas, so thought I would see if there is such a watch around that price that meet my needs.

There are quite a few free apps for your phone that will count steps and of course, since it's your phone, you will always get call notifications.

May be slightly out your price range but I've an Honor smart watch, paid £69 and its very good and accurate here's the great thing Honor are part of HUEWEI and a lot cheaper shipped from just outside London my £69 watch turned out to be the Huewei Pro 2 watch my model Is Honor magic 2 watch it uses the Huewei app on mobile. My wife's got the Huewei pro 2 ladies version which is 42mm instead of 46mm as mine is and hers cost £129 Got be worth looking up and as said we both use the same app on phone and they are both very accurate with many features

If you've already had two cheap watches that are 'way off the mark' why do you then want another cheap watch?

Why not spend a few dollars more and get a good one. I have this one that my wife paid £130 for in July and it's now £109 with this official dealer of discontinued stock:

Lotus is a reputable brand and well made. The App is good and it also looks good.

Is This the same watch? End number says 2, not c. Does that mean just a different strap or something, or an older model?

Battery life isn’t great according to their own website

Probably not £60 but you can buy used Apple Watches for a bit more.

Fine with mine. I'm too old to go running about and I have turned off some of the alerts.

Top of my head I've kept on connection lost, emails, Whatsapp and steps. Controlling music is also off because it conflicts with my AKG Bluetooth headphones.

So I can get around 5 days use before charging and around 3 to 4 if I get a lot of alerts. The only thing to watch out for is when charging it up to make sure the watch is face down and you carefully line the charge pins up otherwise you get a strange looking screen for a few milli seconds. That goes after you connect it correctly.

Probably a bit late now, but my husband bought one for £48 direct from Spade and Co. It measures steps and will also tell him when he has messages and calls. I was impressed for the price.

The only downside we've come across is that when he starts an activity, it makes a bonging sound so loud that everyone around is alerted  You can probably turn this feature off, but he has not got round to investigating it yet. He doesn't wear it usually unless he's doing an activity.

I got a Redmi Watch 5 Active Smartwatch in the deals. As I have a Remi note 10 phone it connects well.
So far the steps have been the same (near enough) to my wife’s Apple Watch, which is meant to be quite accurate….. so they say :ROFLMAO:

Morrisons have them for £18 :jawdrop:

If they are selling the Redmi Watch 5 Active Smartwatch for 18 quid then I would tell anyone looking for a smartwatch to buy it.
I’m no athlete, so it does what I want and it does it very well. Steps, all messages I want (emails, WhatsApp and so on). Controls the music on my phone. Heart rate that seems correct. Weather , timer, handy little flashlight on it, breathing exercise. These are the things I use but it does have so much more.
For £18 I might get one for my right wrist
