A strange thing on my flickr. Anyone else?

Edit My Images
Yes
Just had a notification that someone has mentioned me on one of their photos on their flickr account. Never had this happen before so I looked further.
Picture was what you might call soft porn. From a Russian sounding female photographer. All her photostream was full of the same sort of images. Young - age 20 or so - girls. Tits and bums in profusion but no crinkly bits.
But...on one photo my name was just added as a comment. As were hundreds of other flickr members. Never heard of the woman before, and they are not the sort of shots that I would be looking for.
Anyone know what is going on?
Is it trying to get me to follow her then lead me to some obscure Russian site that might be doing God knows what to the innards of my PC?

Yeah, Ive had a couple of those these last few days. I'm assuming its some sort of scam or other

Quite a few TP members have had similar issues, I just blocked the person in my case.

I think this is an age old thing on Flickr. Had one myself a few day ago and what was more worrying was the girl in the picture seemed awfully young [emoji45] Now it could be me being an old fart as anyone under 30 looks young to me.

Had 5 or 6 in the last 48 hours (don't know why I had more?) and carefully didn't follow the links up because I was at work. Just seen I have another - a Madyson Morris and a Laurel Castelli have mentioned me, so I turned off notifications of their posts.

I had one and reported it but the crap is still there

I've had about 80 in the last few days. Peeing me right off..

Yep, I've had a few too. Flickr seems to be getting more and more spammy these days :(

Had a spate of em a while ago. Just checked & have 3 more.

Just had a few myself, four new blocks in one day, a record

I had one today also. Followed the link so I could access the image and then hit the report abuse button but when I did it said I had followed a bad link and the image wasn't there so I'm guessing Flickr had removed it before I got around to reporting it?

FFS you lucky bastards ,send some my way :banana::banana:

Yes, I had noted the same thing occurring. I have blocked the user but it still shows in your notifications. Hopefully flickr will sort something out to ease the situation.

Like the second one ,looks a sweet girl

I posted a reply but deleted it just in case the image was of a lady of questionable age. I don't think this is the case but if my judgement was wrong and I'd linked an image that...well, you get the drift, then I hate to think I'd done that and then the further implications so best to delete the whole thing.

Why? What's the point of people doing this? Why tag people in these images? I don't get it? It's a pain!

I've seen your link. It came in the notification. Think she is old enough. Or will claim to be.

I think they are trying to hook you in to following them on Flickr and at some time in the future will be invited to other sites. These might be hardcore or could be phishing sites.
Either way it's best to stay well clear.

I've had quite a few in the last few days. I've done the "report image", block user and clicked the option to remove the notification from my "recent activity" feed.
But I wish that Flickr had the "remove tag" type option that Facebook has. I don't want my name associated with images like that.

About 6 months ago, there was a phase of similar accounts with questionable images on suddenly starting to follow other users, but that's all they did. You block them and move on. This is a new variation, but I'm still not sure what the point is.

Had my first mentioned this afternoon, I'm sure it's not going to be the last.

Had one too last night. She was cute but I have a rich and varied marriage so no need, ta much.

Sorry Alan, I deleted everything quickly. That means before SWMBO caught me looking at anything:bat:
Activate porn mode, i mean private browsing, then she never need know providing she doesn't walk in on you :D. This has happened to me in the last few days too, i click on the first one and saw the picture and immediately thought spam and closed it again but have since had several more. Haven't had chance to go through and block them yet as i only glanced at the preview in the flickr notification rather than opened them properly. It is annoying though really
