You know what, when the referendum is over ( whatever the result) I'm going to miss the nightly dose of banter, arguing, trolling, humour, call it what you will.....

That makes interesting reading, of course I don't completely accept his comparison with Norway's first years, we're not starting on anything like the same footing. That said I don't know anyone in the yes camp who believes that it will be all milk and honey from the get go. Mind you if I thought the price of a pint would go to 9 quid here I might be persuade to vote n...n...n...nope can't do it, sorry :)

I think it's fairly obvious it's not factual if you look at the wording. That's campaign material for you.

One is UK price and the other is for identical basket in Ireland. The wording is - One look at the UK and Ireland shows what price rises could be if we choose to vote to leave the UK. It's nothing more than a view that's being presented.

I'm amazed anybody would even contact Tesco unless of course they wanted a response to publish as a Yes counter.

That's a lot of cleaning up! hopefully some arrangement can be come to with rUK, if not the bill will have to be met out of future revenues I suppose.

Not sure if I like the latest 'good' news or not, undersea fracking in the Kimmeridge Clay formation. If it is do-able it would double the existing oil reserve predictions for the North sea but is underwater fracking any less unfriendly than onshore fracking?

Ha! Good luck with that. This is an example of what I dislike about the pro-independence campaign. They want to cherry pick the bits they want and ignore the bits they don't want to hear.

So they want to use the pound and if we don't agree then you'll not pay any liabilities. That's like my ex-wife demanding to continue use the joint bank account or she'll refuse to pay debts that we ran up together. Then asking me to pay money to her so she can employ a cleaner in the future because I said I would back when I thought we were going to still be married!

Divorce is an ugly business and you never get everything your own way. Yet each time it's pointed out, the yes camp start screaming about negative campaigning and scaremongering.
 
Has it actually been agreed that in the case of this divorce Scotland will be allowed to take the oil fields? Is that legally really a given?

don't think that's ever been disputed, I'd guess it's to do with international boundaries.

Interesting point though, I wonder who paid for the rig's pipe lines etc?
IF it was the UK as a whole,
then surely they belong to the UK as a whole,
not just one "region" ?
IF it was funded by the oil companies alone,
then would they be happy handing over control to a break away government?

(Genuine questions / comments as I have no idea how these things "work" )
