Canon service centres (which)

Hi all
Need to send my camera for warranty repair, I wonder what everyone's experience with Canon's authorised centres: HLehman, Colchester Camera repair, or Canon Elstree?

I had good and not so good experience with Colchetser camera before, I haven't tried the others. I'm leaning towards HLehman atm, but I also want to try Elstree as I'm an hour's drive away.

What are your thoughts?

I've always had a good service from Fixation, although I've not tried any of the others (not had a need to).

Used Colchester for a repair on my compact powershot that was 6years old.
Sensor problem that was repaired under warranty!

It took about a fortnight, but can't really complain about the service.

I used H. Lehmann in Stoke a few years ago and received good service.

Elstree for me, always been very good. My son uses them too and he's had excellent service from them.

Ritchie, take it to Elstree, they will book it in and return it to you FOC if it's warranty.

Thanks all for your replies. Looks like the service centres are all good. Unfortunately I am returning the 5D2 for a refund ( canon refurb) as I've discovered a few problems with it. I'll buy elsewhere when I get my money back.
