I would have been torn between #1 & #2 for Snappers too.
Perhaps choosing #1 as it show you're suffering for your art - standing in the sea

Somehow Looking down doesn't have the same impact for me. Perhaps due to the sea being lighter? I'm not sure.

I've never seen Chesil from that angle - nicely captured.
