I went up to the Royal Armouries Museum on top of Portsdown Hill today with Andy Fozzy and spotted this detail on an old Italian historic cannon (gun, not camera!) Shot with on-camera SB800 bounced off wall to left.

Well I'm still stuck in with the dreaded lurgy so another quick grab from the garden, but with a new 'old' lens that arrived today - Nikkor 28-70 f/3.5-4.6. Not bad bokeh for £35
On a bum note the PC has stopped working so trying to do everything on a crappy 4 year old laptop that takes an age to process anything in Lightroom :bang:

That is lovely bokeh Dave, I thought you might have used the 70-200 from the back door.
Thanks Jonny. I'm quite impressed with this lens for the money. It's got a 9 bladed aperture that gives it some nice bokeh and will also give me 18 point sun stars! I got it to try out the 28 (24) - 70mm zoom length before I get the Nikkor 24-70mm f/2.8
