Falcons 300mm f2.8 lens tester

Whilst I appreciate these lack wonderful light and composition I took my new lens to the falconry centre in hagley yesterday to give it a dry run initial thoughts are im very happy with it!, these photos were shot at around 1600 iso too so some sharpness lost to noise and were shot wide open at f2.8
anyhow hope you like em!

At 1600 ISO there should not be a problem with noise and the D3.

thanks Digtall, some mild grain at 1600 but thats just me being critical I want 6400 and no grain!

Just think when the light gets better and you can shoot lower iso wide or stopped down
