OK, I've been shamed into submitting a photo, so your post was not in vain.Come on folks, a recent pic of your gran would get you points right now!
It's the cold weather you know! Well, everyone else seems to be blaming it!No photo mate.
Poll is up for 5 days, closing Tuesday morning
@TheBigYin could you do your thing and sticky March's thread, and unsticky January's please? Ta muchly
sure can, only wish I'd managed to actually get an entry in on my favourite subject... sadly the one weekend I had spare to do something with the camera came right after the Hospital doing a "stress test" on the heart repairs they did, and I was under very strict orders not to do anything strenuous - and as building a set with sheets of plasterboard walls, and climbing up into the loft to retrieve the lighting kit were deemed "no-no's" by my friend who was enforcing my lazyness, i'm afraid I missed out on shooting
I thought Miss Whiplash had closed up shop when Luncheon Vouchers ended.Time to start keeping an eye out for chains, I think I know where I want to visit.

September: Natural light portrait

November: Waste
December: Wet

I had an idea for chains and it's worked reasonably well. I could also use it for fake but then I'd have to think of something else for chains and we're running out of time!
Please tell me it's not one of Andysnap dressed up like Mr T?I had an idea for chains and it's worked reasonably well. I could also use it for fake but then I'd have to think of something else for chains and we're running out of time!

Driving out (and back again) yesterday I saw what looked like a candidate shot for "waste". Three emptied bins leaning at odd angles against each other. Grabbed a camera and walked out after I'd got back... someone had taken their bin in and set the other two straight!
Or perhaps the OCD moment?! A place for everything and everything in its place. The Indecisive Moment.
Hoist with his own petard... now that's an idea...I don't even have a photo that I can shoehorn in this month, think I'm going to have to get a bit creative this weekend!
That's one advantage of Filmdev, you get your scans back by download, so the return post isn't an issue. But yes, I'd better finish that second roll!Just realised this morning, it's Easter next weekend as well as the end of the month, and there's no post on Good Friday! Off like a shot to the post box with my film! Hopefully it should get there tomorrow ready for a Monday or Tuesday development and return by Thursday's post! Where does time go?
The last few times I've sent films to AG for 'develop only' on a Tuesday and got the negs back on Thursday, so a 1 day turn-around, plus a big saving scanning them myself. I hope they're as quick this time as I've sent a black and white film in the batch, last time I sent a black and white film to Filmdev it took an extra day to get the download; I don't know if this was due to the post getting the films there, or a one-off delay, or if it takes/took them longer to do black and white. I can only go by past experience, so chose AG and the saving home scanning will bring. Fingers crossed it works out OK.That's one advantage of Filmdev, you get your scans back by download, so the return post isn't an issue. But yes, I'd better finish that second roll!
I think that, unless there are larger vessels with anchors, then you tend to find more ropes than chains at marinas. I was going to visit the local canal basin, but on looking at older shots, there weren't really any chains in sight, so I went elsewhere.
Well I could enter the biggest shoehorn ever with a picture of my wife and I together, as I have been "chained" for 52 years OH wait I have got a shot taken since last December erm come to thinks of it, it might be years of us together standing in front of my tripod with a shutter release cable in my hand
