You could well be right, I'll await my call tomorrow and see if I can get any more info.
Right, I got my call and it was quite an interesting conversation.
Page updated http://comica.co.uk/alldigital0869.htm
Hi Mike,
The web page you created is a good idea, but I had a quick look at the meta data and might be an idea to get the keywording all up to scratch so a Google search will return your page
For example:
Tracey Fredericks, Harbour48, Filter Fantastic, Alldigital0869, ebay seller, ebay...etc
This would help the ones who do bother to run a search to see what TF and her team are made of before they spend any serious money.
I have a vague understanding of what meta data is but any chance of a pointer as to how to implent it on the page?
I'm no where near a good person to ask but I'll have a go.
Here's a link I found that kinda explains it:

Hopefully they'll be some brainy and kind TP member to suggest a far better way.
Well I've just added some new search tags, the ones you suggested as well as their VAT number, postcode, phone number, shop name, email address.
As you say though, it's all about whether people do their research, I know I didn't before my experience.
Good on yer Mike.
I also didn't do any research before buying from them but at least were doing our bit now eh![]()
BTW I read your page and I can tell you why your feedback was removed
o mention of dust or scratch, had to engage Ebay for full refund. Uncooperative
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/feedback-abuse-withdrawal.html
References to eBay or PayPal investigations
That's how it got removed.

Apparently not. Whilst ebay themselves would not tell me why it had been removed, alldigital0869 were kind enough to shoot themselves in the foot by telling me.
They told ebay that because they resold the lens and received positive feedback for it that I must be wrong. Happily, after a few phone calls, my negative feedback has been reinstated and I now have alldigital0869 begging me to remove the neg.![]()

Sling this in after the last meta tag:
<title>Tracey Fredericks, Harbour48, Filter Fantastic, Alldigital0869, ebay seller, ebay, traders, fraud, scam, review</title>
The TITLE attribute has much higher precedence than anything else for google, so if you want that thing found for something, make sure that something is in the title tag.
You shouldn't remove the Neg as the whole point of feedback is to give other buyers your honest impression. Don't sell out for £20 (or anything).

Oh, I have no intention of removing the neg, they just couldn't pay me enough. I just love the fact that they have changed their tune so much now that the neg was reinstated.
I also contacted the buyer who left the latest neg, he's of the opinion that he won't buckle for £20 either![]()

Buy something for a fiver and demand £15 back.
I wonder what would happen if you tell ebay about the offer from them to remove the feedback.
That must be against some kind of terms of service
I can't believe that Friederick's odyssey still continues. Buying another item from them would be unimaginable just to cash £20.

anyway - I guess I wouldn't deal with them again. 90% of the stock - i don't know where they get it - from rubbish bins ? they look so heavily used. dust, scratches etc, etc.
They get most, if not all, of their stock from ebay. Have a look for filterfantastic08, their buying account.
