It fits the over theme, but I feel it could be better. it seems rather soft on my screen and could possibly do with a tad more exposure.
I do like the way the town is layered and the church is close to line of thirds which makes it stand out.

Good concept for the theme
I agree that the spire is the stand out structure in the shot, I bet it looks very different in daylight.
You need to have a look at the tutorial threads in this section, which show you how to link back from the main thread to your personal one. Without the link, you may not get too many comments as it can be hard to find the personal thread (especially if it has slipped off the first page).
